Heidy Seoenz, President of El Paso STRA, discussed with KFOX the proposed ordinance being reviewed by the City Council this week and why it’s a step in the right direction for El Paso STRs.
“As president of the El Paso Short Term Rental Alliance, our goal is to ensure that STR hosts operate responsibly and contribute positively to our communities. Over the past year, we’ve worked hard alongside the city to protect property rights and maintain safe neighborhoods with the STR pilot program. We support this ordinance as it addresses concerns raised about STRs, helps us avoid disruptive guests, and strengthens our relationship with the community.
